Overview
Whether you aspire to teach or simply want to deepen your practice, YSK’s 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program is a transformative experience that raises the bar far beyond industry standards. While many trainings prioritize personal bonding over practical content, we deliver a professional-level education that ensures you graduate fully prepared to teach with confidence and precision.
Our curriculum, available in-person or virtually, offers an unparalleled curriculum covering history, philosophy, anatomy, biomechanics, and intelligent sequencing. Unlike many programs, we provide opportunities for teaching experience, empowering you to build your resume and even begin recouping your investment while still in training. Teaching while in training facilitates a much richer training journey, as the content is immediately relevant and applicable.
Yoga is more than movement—it’s a way to navigate life with purpose and clarity. Whether or not you choose to teach, our program equips you with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience to meet the highest professional standards and transform your relationship with yoga.
Pick Your Training Path
Traditionally Yoga was taught 1:1. We honor that dynamic by keeping training groups small to offer each student individualized support and attention.
There are two paths for completing your 200hr, and trainees can combine training paths as needed
In-Person Path:
Trainees completed 10-15 hours of required pre-coursework for each module (readings, recorded content, etc.)
Trainees email written assignments into YTT Facilitator
Trainees attend in-person sessions at a YOTV location (link to calendar) to test out on content, and apply principles to practice teaching
Graduation of each module is not based on attendance, but on demonstration of content comprehension. YSK reserves the right to have trainees repeat modules, as needed
Virtual Path:
Trainees completed 10-15 hours of required pre-coursework for each module (readings, recorded content, etc.)
Trainees email written assignments into YTT Facilitator
Trainees record practice teaching assignments (Zoom, Youtube, etc) to test out on content, and apply principles to practice teaching
Graduation of each module is not based on completion alone, but on demonstration of content comprehension. YSK reserves the right to have trainees repeat modules, as needed
Course Requirements:
Trainees are required to complete and meet the graduation bar for all modules within 5 years of commencing training. See Core Curriculum for more info on each module:
